People store a whole lot of data on their computing devices. For a person who uses his computer for personal reasons, his drives will be filled with data like movies, songs, applications and other documents.

On the other hand someone who uses a computer for official reasons might store important work related information. Whether it is a personal computer or an official one, it bears a lot of information, which if lost will pose a huge problem. In such a situation it is better to be safe than sorry. Free online backup is one of the options that can be used for personal and official purposes. While using a computer, users are often clouded with the panic of their systems conking off leading to loss of important data. Instead of living in constant worry, choose free online backup as a way protect all of your data, important or otherwise. Offices are not the only outlets that are using free online storage. Online storage is also being used for personal reasons.

This is a good option for people who work from home, as it takes away the stress related to loss of data. An overt sense of dependence on technology has more often than not lead to disastrous circumstances. One among them is loss of important stored data. Picture a company having lost all of their data; imagine the mess that it would lead them into. To avoid the possibility of such situations is best to look for a good free online backup provider. With the help of the servers of these companies all your data will be kept safe no matter what happens to your computer.

Better yet, these companies allow you to access the stored data via cloud servers. The also provide free cloud backup services. On the web, you will come across a number of sites offering free online storage. These sites are some of the best ones as they offer a 100% guarantee of all the backup of their customers’ data. These sites have certain schemes or offers that one can choose from depending on his need. Apart from offering 2TB or 512GB storage, these sites also offer unlimited storage packs. These packs can be chosen based on the requirement of the people opting for the service.

These storage packs can be chosen based on not only the needs of a person or a company but also based on their specifications. Choosing a good free online backup company is important as they are the ones who are going to have control over all of your data. Make sure you choose a company known for its service of online backup. Your choice on the amount of backup space you need can also be influenced by the company. Therefore the role that the company plays in the process of handling your backed up data is more important than it seems. Choose a backup site well and you will soon see its benefits.

You ever think about mobile SEO?

Google recently revealed on a blog post that the rankings of search results on mobile devices will be affected by the optimization of websites for such devices. In other words, the more your content and website design is optimized for mobile devices, the higher your site will rank for users on those devices.
It makes sense, after all it would be bad for Google to serve a search result that would be poorly visualized on the device of the user.
Here’s a quote from the article:

Smartphone users are a significant and fast growing segment of Internet users, and at Google we want them to experience the full richness of the web. As part of our efforts to improve the mobile web, we published our recommendations and the most common configuration mistakes.
Avoiding these mistakes helps your smartphone users engage with your site fully and helps searchers find what they’re looking for faster. To improve the search experience for smartphone users and address their pain points, we plan to roll out several ranking changes in the near future that address sites that are misconfigured for smartphone users.

Google also has a page on developers section where it highlights the most common mistakes when optimizing sites for mobile devices. They are:

  • Unplayable videos
  • Faulty redirects
  • Smartphone-only 404s
  • App download interstitials
  • Irrelevant cross-linking
  • Page speed

If you are not testing your website on mobile devices yet, well, now it’s a good time to get started.

LinkedIn show your resume online

LinkedIn show your resume online

With 130 million profiles on professional networking website LinkedIn, there’s great potential for you to increase your professional visibility among those in your industry and beyond. It would be almost silly not to consider the benefits of actively participating in LinkedIn's social networking as well as maintaining an up-to-date resume. But despite the fact that social media networks are fast becoming a primary form of communication for millions of users, some people aren’t quite convinced that a social network for professionals is worth their time.

There’s evidence, however, that social networks are useful for the job market: more hiring managers are turning to social networks like LinkedIn to find and screen potential job candidates. And since many recruiters use LinkedIn, you should ensure that you know everything that they know about the online resource. LinkedIn can create visibility for prospective employees and employers. LinkedIn helps to link each industry in a small web-based community, and when you seek to become a part of that community, you may find your options broadening at the same time.

While your resume is a unique document that can make you stand out, LinkedIn is essential in today's job market.  That means it’s important that your resume and your LinkedIn profile work together in your job search. There should be similarities between your LinkedIn profile and your resume, but the two should complement each other, and serve to give HR professionals a more complete picture of you as a potential employee.

LinkedIn vs. resume

Although your LinkedIn profile and resume should be somewhat similar, one of the fundamental differences between your LinkedIn presence and your resume should be the tone. Your resume should serve as a "just the facts" report of your work, skills and educational background. It should also provide a recruiter an organized copy of your quantifiable success and career history. Often, companies require that a cover letter accompany your resume when applying for jobs. A cover letter gives you a chance to stand apart from candidates with similar professional backgrounds. Similarly, LinkedIn combines the uses of a cover letter and resume. Using a LinkedIn profile can be a real asset during your job search.

But although your resume should be somewhat cut-and-dried, your LinkedIn profile should be more detailed and provide more information about yourself. LinkedIn allows you to expand on your skills, education and experience in a much friendlier and congenial tone than a formal resume. LinkedIn also encourages you to combine the two purposes of your profile and resume, giving hiring managers a good idea of your personality as well as what you can bring to the table in terms of your professional background.

Leveraging social media

The modern workforce has become increasingly more reliant on social networking. From high school to post-secondary learning, students and workers alike are integrating technology into their everyday lives. Since LinkedIn’s features include the opportunity to write recommendations of your peers, colleagues and managers, it creates a platform on which you can give a full presentation of professional objectives and your personality to your target industry. Don’t be afraid to add multimedia to your LinkedIn profile: slideshow presentations you’ve done for school or other jobs, video, and other media can show a side of you and your professional experience that hiring managers almost never see in a simple resume.

With the use of smartphones and tablets on the rise, particularly with the younger generation of job seekers, using social networking as an effective job search tool is critical to today's mobile culture. Keep that in mind while you craft your LinkedIn profile: while your profile should be designed to show more of your abilities and strengths, it should still strike a balance between detail and conciseness. Smartphones are becoming as user-friendly and as powerful as computers, but a profile that’s easy to read from a smartphone might make the difference between drawing readers in and readers skipping over a profile.

How to Add new menu in Wordpress

Function menu or navigation bar is easier for blog visitors to explore the contents of our blog. By default wordpress ( free wordpress blog : red ) only provides a menu that contains HOME and PAGE we created. But we can customize the menu itself with the new menu desired. Like entering CATEGORIES or other LINKs into the menu.

Your website pagerank is not rising? Understand why?

Your website page rank is not rising? Understand why?

Why Your Blog / Web Pagerank Does not Rise - The actual PageRank is an algorithmic link analysis introduced by Google in 1998. This is the real formula that tells Google which sites have more importance and deserves to rank higher. Of course most of you know that PageRank is a number between 0 and 10 based on the number of incoming links pointing to a site. It is mostly updated four times a year. Every time someone updates a reader about a PageRank news many people rejoice when they hear the news even though some of them may lose motivation.

Why Your Blog / Web Pagerank Does not Rise

Is PageRank determined by Number of incoming links?

The answer is almost no. PageRank is determined by the number of Dofollow (links that are crawled by google) to a blog / website. Then why is my PageRank fixed? even down? Well now we will discuss three things:

  • Maximize the number of Incoming links (dofollow)
  • Balancing outbound and incoming links
  • Maintain the PageRank of your blog
  • Maximize the number of Incoming Links

Google scans the World Wide Web world every fraction of a second and crawls index pages in the database continuously. It seems that for quality websites with generated content it will either be categorized separately from people, net forums or blogs that publish poor content, old stories and copyright infringement.
When sites with rich authorities and sites with PR are greater than 2 (ie PR> 2)link to your blog, your blog starts attracting Google spiders and forcing them to pay you respect because you've been recommended (linked) by a blog that has more winning reputation in the eyes of Google over the last 4 months and above. So the actual significance refers to whether the site that links to you has some PR or not. The PR of a higher site the greater the meaning.
Do not understand ?

Well is there a difference in connecting you? Yes there is a big gap. Follow the table below,

Please Note: Assume that your site has a PR 0,0 and your blog starts receiving the following Links from a single site. I repeat incoming links mentioned here is from one single site and not several. See how this link can affect your homework.

Note: The follow data is based on my experience so far and mere assumptions but close.

Balancing outbound and incoming links

Be sure to link external sites only when needed. When you connect an external link, you indirectly share your PR with the site. Connecting a low quality website or linking an iframe page etc. often effects your PR. Of course your outbound links will always be bigger than your incoming links, but keep the ratio between them as low as possible. This is indeed one of the best optimization strategies that are highly recommended.

If your incoming links are 100 and outbound links are 10,000 then the chances of a certain PR decrease. One way to keep external links low is Tag them as nofollow. The nofollow tag will only allow your readers to visit those links but links that will not be crawled by Google robots.

Maintain the Page Rank of your blog

Now this sentence has a different but complete meaning. This will answer the question of why your Page Rank goes down when you feel you have done nothing wrong.

You lost your AdSense Account when you violated the Google Services Terms, just as you lost your Page Rank when you did not comply with the rules set by the Google Page Rank team. This has been clearly mentioned several times by Matt Cutts and other webmaster help members whose Page Rank should not be misused. Abusing means selling links on your website to connect builders especially web hosting companies. Selling links is the same as recommending a website to Google just for the sake of money and not because of the quality of the content.

When you receive PR 3 or above, many link builders will contact and pay you to add their link to one of your high ranking posts. They will pay you as high as $ 200 per link for a year or all time. Money is something you can not refuse so they commit this crime and on the next crawl of your page, Google detects that a new relevant link has been added to your previously unavailable post and then the robot scans another page of your blog and finally comes to a conclusion "Sale Link Detected!" So on the next update you lose your PR is hard to come by.

Please do not worry about income, adding value to readers and social ladder. Revenue will naturally come. Google detects that new relevant links have been added to your previously unavailable post and then the robot scans another page of your blog and finally comes to a conclusion "Sale Link Detected!" So on the next update you lose your PR is hard to come by. Please do not worry about income, adding value to readers and social ladder.

Conclusion

Do not worry about Page Rank because google rate website not only based on Page Rank but also 200 other things like Alexa Rank and your Social rank / Author Rank. Giving added value to your readers and working hard to increase your daily subscribers and paying less attention to income for the first year of your blogging activity are steps to becoming a True Blogger. I hope this little info proves helpful in explaining the technical reasons behind the PageRank drop. Hope this info useful.

Proxy Servers and VPNs

Proxy Servers and VPNs

There are a lot of reasons someone might use a proxy server, like keeping a client machine anonymous, logging usage, scan for malware, or to bypass security controls that block certain sites (for when you really need Reddit at work). Proxy servers are an intermediary between your computer and another server that anyone can set up and use. A proxy server is like a stripped down version of a virtual private network (VPN).

Proxy servers are much simpler to configure, but they offer less protection for data.VPNs can be slower than proxies because they encrypt all data coming through the connection, whereas proxies only affect web traffic (that is, the internet as accessed through a browser). Many companies that offer proxy servers also offer VPNs for enterprise customers or people who have a strong need for encryption.

Astrill
Astrill has services in 48 countries and works with just about every operating system. Astrill allows users to set proxy settings up in their browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox). Their main service is actually a VPN, which is like a proxy, but much more secure and limited to the machines on which it has been installed. Astrill encrypts data and keeps it anonymous which is particularly useful for people working or
traveling.

Hamachi

Hamachi offers a free, do it yourself proxy for those interested in learning how to configure their own network security. It is primarily used for limiting access to data
sent over an open Wi-Fi network or to bypass firewalls or filters. In order to set up Hamachi, two computers (one to be the proxy server and one as the client) are required. Hamachi is free as long as you don’t intend to use it for commercial purposes. It is easy to configure and budding network geeks will have fun working with it.

Private Internet Access

Private Internet Access is another service offering Web-based privacy protection.
It uses multiple security layers and VPN tunneling to make a secure connection.
Private Internet Access offers gateways in lots of countries and features gigabit

VPN
port speeds. Its IP cloaking feature hides the computer’s real IP address, replacing it with an anonymous one to create a private, undetectable connection. Private Internet Access also offers 128bit encryption that is based on Microsoft MS-CHAP
V2. Like the other proxy servers, it provides advanced firewall features both in terms of maintaining firewalls and circumventing the ones you don’t want in your way.

WiTopia
WiTopia is primarily a VPN provider, but it has a proxy service that is currently in
beta. The proxy service is faster than using a traditional VPN and is free for current WiTopia VPN subscribers. Using the proxy server, a user’s location and IP address becomes protected and anonymous to the server to which it is connected. It works for all standard Web traffic (i.e. not VoIP or other non-browser internet-using applications; that’s what VPN is for). WiTopia has built an auto-configure installer for users who want to set up the proxy.

How to Increase Google AdSense Revenue

I'm not going to talk about why AdSense is the best internet advertising program in the world today, or even write an article that discusses the most potential AdSense alternatives, because none of the AdSense competitors earn net income for the leading program G o o g l e this. I myself have been using AdSense since 2014 and are beginning to benefit. Therefore, I would like to find out more about how to increase my revenue from AdSense.

Adsense offers us various ways to increase revenue, such as section targeting, get rid of certain categories of ads that are paid a bit, or put an ad into a list of ads, and many more features that we can use to increase revenue G o o g l e AdSense from our site or blog all of us.

Tips Increase Earnings G o o g l e AdSense

Here are some tips we can follow to increase revenue from the G o o g l e program AdSense and can be implemented easily by normal bloggers like me, maybe only 50 tips, but I will try to improve it again in the future. 28. Avoid creating a MFA blog ( made for Adsense )
  29. Keep an eye on the progress of your ads.
  30. Block advertisers cheap with Competitive Filters
  31. Do not block too many ads
  32. Use the Adsense preview tool
  33. For short articles, place AdSense ads at the top of the content
  34. For long articles, put Adsense ads in the middle of the article
  35. Avoid using words that are often found on other blogs.
  36. Do not make G o o g l e AdSense the second choice. Ciee cieee ..
  37. Make original articles and fresh content every day.
  38. Join youtube .
  39. Use social media to promote your blog.
  40. Get rid of public service ads
  41. Learn from publisher sites or forums .

  44. Learn more in SEO to attract traffic
  45. Do not expect rich overnight
  46. Analyze Traffic with Google Webmasters Tools / Google Console

Like for example there are bloggers who advise to keep using text ads only, whereas I think that the ads with pictures attract more visitors to click on these ads. But my advice is, keep experimenting and then follow which one works best and best for you. Okay, let's start from the first:
