Site does not meet google policy. Ever get the message when applying for adsense program? what's the problem? If you only capitalize articles from other bloggers you may not get complete and complete information. My suggestion is better you go directly to adsense support page here  (for Indonesian) or there  (English = English).

I myself prefer the information in English but if you prefer Indonesian language does not matter.

Why google is very strict in running the policy of receiving publisher? In google adsense support site states the purpose of the strict policy provided by google is to provide a comfortable environment for advertisers (adwords), users (google search) and publisher (publisher ad = blogger).

You must understand the triangular relationship of advertisers, users, and publishers so you can be more easily accepted in the adsense program. If a blogger does not understand the reciprocal relationship between the three elements in the network mentioned google above, I am sure until whenever the blogger will not be accepted as a partner in the google adsense program.

From a little picture where Google get the money and also the purpose of made google policy so I want to go to the core problems of messages received by bloggers who register adsense; site does not meet google policy.

Google+ Hangouts are a terrific and free tool that opens up new ways to teach and learn. The following video provides three examples of ways Google+ Hangouts are being used that might inspire ideas in your own classroom. Below the video I elaborate on how each idea can be used and include the minutes/seconds in the video at which time you can see each idea in action.

1) Take a class without having to be in the same place. (00.00 in video)
You can have up to ten participants in a Google+ Hangout.  What can that mean for teaching and learning? Here are some ideas. Invite up to 9 classes/individuals to learn from one expert. This can be great in communities where there is perhaps only one teacher for a particular subject but a few students in various schools interested in learning.

Sick or traveling students can participate when they are not able to attend class. Learners can connect with others who share their passions and interests even if they are not in their school / class. For example there might be students from other schools, communities that join your class. Invite up to 9 home instruction students (those who are home because of illness or other reasons) to join in a live class.

2) Invite an audience to a performance. (00.33 in video)
Google+ Hangout provides a great way to empower students to find an authentic audience by being able to invite up to 9 other people to listen to their performance, presentation, reading, etc.  Here are some ideas.

Have students invite some family members and / or friends to watch a performance. Connect with other classes that might want to watch a student perform.  They will be able to chat to give feedback and even give live applause, questions, etc.

Google+ Hangout provides a way for you to connect with others even if they are not geographically desirable. This can be great for a student looking to connect with others that may not exist at their school.  Here are some ideas.

A student who wants to study music and perform can do so even if there is no such program in their school or community. With Google Hangout, they can connect with others and practice, perform, and jam together. A student who wants to study a certain type of theater can do so with others and do a virtual reading with Hangout. If you do book clubs in your school, you may discover you have some students with unique tastes.  Let them do book talks with others using Google Hangout.

Support young people in developing their personal learning networks and create times to have online discussions with others who share their passions. 

Tools like Skype have enabled us to connect with another person for quite a few years now. Tools like Google Hangout however are allowing us to connect with many others around the world for free.This has powerful implications for teaching and learning that should not be ignored. If you know how to optimize images in your web pages, your images will have high rankings in the image search results. Using higly relevant and properly optimized images in your web pages will bring quality traffic from Google Image Search. Use the techniques described below for optimizing Google Image Search.

1. Use the alt attribute in the html img tag. This is the most important one. Use a specific keyword or a key phrase that identifies what the image is all about. If the image is a new car, use the key phrase 'new car', instead of car or traffic, in the alt attribute.

2. Use the title attribute in the img tag. The title attribute is what people see when they hover the mouse over the image. You can use the same text for title that you use for the alt attribute.

3. Use both the width and the height attributes for the image. If the image height is unknown, use the image width. You should always use the image width from a design standpoint. Unknown image width can break your horizontal layout forcing your web site visitors to scroll horizontally which is very annoying.

4. Put some description texts just beneath the image. For example, 'a red rose blossoming in a quite morning' for the red rose image. Make the key word, red rose, bold. When Google displays the image in the image search result page, the result page will also display the texts surrounding the image.

5. Don't use image1, image2, etc. for the image file names. just use descriptive names. For example, use new car for a new car image file. You can use the same text that you use for the alt attribute. Just hyphenate the words if it is a key phrase.

6. Choose your anchor texts in links to images carefully. Instead of 'click here for larger image' as the text link to an image, you can use 'a large red rose picture is here' as the anchor text.

7. Put all your images in a root folder and, if you prefer, categorize your images in sub-folders under the root image folder. Make sure that your robot file does not limit access to the image folders. Use the img and src tags for images on your web pages. Avoid all types of java script tricks. Goolge search engine spider will be able to index all your images. If you have descriptive image files names, they will have high relevancy in Google image search results.

8. Use Google trends to find hot topics. Use your creativity to establish a credible relevancy between you images and the hot trends. For example, if 'Hunt for red December' is the hot topic, you can use 'Hunt for red December Rose' as your image text.

I have created a cool website last months, it has lot of good quality content and very informative. But I got very few visitors in 2012, traffic was very low on my website. It require lot of hard work to create such site, it will become disappointing when there is no traffic. After some time I realized that having great website is of no use if you don’t have good amount of viewers or traffic on your site. Then I started searching on internet, ways to increase traffic on website. I came across lot of useful ways and tips. I applied those to my website and came up with positive result, traffic to my website started increasing. I am sharing some of ways to increase traffic to website with you.

Different ways to increase traffic to website are mentioned below:

1. Update the site daily: Post something daily to your website as people are looking for new and latest stuff on internet. Strong keyword which attracts visitors: Do some research and come up with list of keywords which people are searching in internet. Use those keywords on your site in articles.

2. Post site link (signature) in forums: Post your website link in forums which are related to your website. Make sure that the post in forum should be informative and helpful for others then only they will visit your website.

3. Backlinks: Backlinks, also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links, are incoming links to a website or web page. In basic link terminology, a backline is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node.

4. Directory submissions: Online directory submission is a process which includes identification of proper category and filing the website or webpage detail in particular related category and get it approved by directory editor.

5. Article submissions: Write some article related to your website and submit it to any article directories.

6. Classified ads: Advertise your website using advertising services, there are many free classifieds out there where you can specify your website and get some traffic from them.

7. Forum commenting: Put website links as your signature in forums and start commenting for posts. Your post will content your signature website link. If people are satisfied with your link then people may visit your website also.

8. Guest posting: Write a guest post on a blog which has higher SEO juice so that your post gets good traffic and in turn your blog gets some traffic via link which will be added in authors bio.

9. SEO technique: There are lot of Search engine optimization techniques available you need to search those and apply it to your site.

10. Share story in social networking sites: Share your thoughts or how you came up with this site or any interesting moment of past.

11. Yahoo answers: Join yahoo answers and answer questions related to your interest and also related to your website and give your website as source.

12. Make site interactive with forums, polls and surveys: Try to make your website interactive. Put some survey or poll which makes visitors to interact more with the website and traffic will increase.

13. Business cards: Add your website link to your business card and give the cards to all your friends and relatives and tell them to share those cards with their friends.

14. Sitemaps: Add sitemap to your website this helps website user to quickly go through all the pages and it will increase website.

15. Bookmarking: Join social bookmarking sites and bookmark your websites, put some useful keywords as tags. There are log of bookmarking sites available such as Stumbleupon, Digg, Reddit, twitter, etc.

5 ideas for using Google Hangouts


If you're an innovative educator, by now, you have probably tried Google Hangouts which let you conduct a video conference with up to ten people / locations FOR FREE! This by itself has terrific potential for teaching and learning tool.

I explained here ways the following ideas could be put to use in the classroom:
1)  Take a class without having to be in the same place.
2)  Invite an audience to a performance.
3)  Invite others to perform/discuss with you.

What you may yet to have tried is live streaming your Hangout and capturing it via YouTube. This is known as Google Hangouts On Air which takes something  that was already awesome, and makes it even better.

1) Online classes / webinars
Forget that expensive software. Google Hangouts are now the perfect tool for online professional development and webinars. Now you can live stream that online class and have up to ten participants total. So you can have several expert guests joining the class and still have several spaces for participants to jump in for questions, feedback, etc. Since only ten participants can chat at a time in a Hangout, for a large class use a back channel chat like Twitter with selected hashtag, Today’s Meet.  Remember to assign a back channel monitor that among other things can invite interested participants who have something to contribute to join the Hangout live.

2)    Professional development
The first thing that comes to my mind is that professional development can be live streamed so for instance even if educators can’t be at a professional development in person, they can watch it from their homes and up to ten can even participate.  These sessions are then recorded and available on YouTube for viewing anytime / anywhere.  What’s also great is that YouTube now has simple editing tools, so you can quickly and easily add captions, headlines, cut video etc.

3)    The home – school connection
In the 21st century where many students come from either single-parent working families or those where both parents must work, coming to school is difficult.  Live streaming lets school come to the parent either live or later via recording. Schools can share morning announcements, assemblies, celebrations and more.  Teachers can student presentations and invite parents to actually join the hangout at the time their child will be presenting. It is there later for parents to share with friends and families to brag far and wide.  Views and comments can also be exciting and motivating for students. The account holder has comment moderation privileges, if there are worries about possible inappropriate comments.

4) Meetings
Sometimes not all participants can physically attend a meeting, but with live streaming they can watch from where they are live, or view later.

5) Poetry Slam
It is not unusual for schools to collaborate with other schools for poetry slams. In the past this was often done via something like Skype.  With Google Hangouts On Air, you can have multiple classes collaborating and on the day of the actual slam, the event can be live streamed and the school community invited to watch.
